Cause
Usually grass buildup under cutting guards preventing mechanism from moving.
Tools Required
- 2.5mm Allen key (hex key)
Step-by-Step Solution
- Flip Mower — Turn upside down on dry, flat surface
- Remove Cutting Discs — 0:21
- Use 2.5mm Allen key
- Remove 3 screws per disc
- Remove Cutting Guards — 0:29
- Locate 3 screws surrounding motor shaft per guard
- Remove screws, lift guards away
- Clean Debris
- Clear grass/dirt packed under guards
- Clear around lifting mechanism
- Inspect Gasket — 1:33
- Check rubber gasket around motor shaft
- Remove any debris
- Reassemble Guards — 1:42
- Place guards back, ensure flush against gasket
- Reinstall 3 screws per guard
- Tighten firmly for watertight seal
- Reinstall Discs
Warnings
NO WATER
NEVER spray underside with hose while guards are removed — 1:19. Water will destroy electronics.
Watertight Seal
Guards must compress gasket properly. Ensure perfect seating before tightening screws.
